De moeder van de collectie van Prior International staat in het Joods Historisch
Museum in Amsterdam. Het is een driedimensionale object gemaakt van 300
documentairefoto´s, vergrootglazen in een beeldzuil. De foto´s gaan over het
Joods Leven in Nederland. De presentatie met het licht geeft er een special
effect aan en is een speelse vorm om een ingewikkeld thema, democratisch
tentoon te stellen. De nieuwe series van Prior International vinden hierin hun
inspiratie. De driedimensionale lampen hebben nu kleinere formaten en zijn
geschikt voor kantoor- en wachtruimtes, voor restaurants, in foyers maar ook
voor in uw woonkamer. Ze hebben allure en zijn bijzondere objecten of ze nu
aan of uitgeschakeld zijn.
The mother of the Prior International collection is in the Jewish Historical Museum in
Amsterdam. It is a three dimensional object made from 300 documentary photos,
magnifying glasses and energy saving light bulbs in an image statue. The photos
show Jewish life in the Netherlands. The presentation with light gives it a very special
effect and is a playful form used to present a complex theme in a communal way.
The new lighting series of Prior International find their inspiration here. The three
dimensional lamps are now smaller and are suitable for offices and waiting rooms,
for restaurants or foyers but also for your living room. They have allure and are
exceptional objects whether switched on or off.
